Taste of Chicago

Hey pretties! Today was such a beautiful day I decided to go downtown to the Taste of Chicago. Since I only have 38 days until school starts I wanted to actually do something with my life instead of just staying at home or just going to sport practices. But before I went there I wanted to take some pictures at Millennium Park. It's been awhile since I've been there and I figured why not!

Anyway onto the outfit! I am wearing a 'Mermaid' top inspired by Adam Levine clothing line. It's actually cropped which is super cute. My high waisted denim shorts are by Nicki Minaj, my favorite part is the crown design on the back right pocket. I'm wearing my signature denim converse to match the shorts. To accessorize I wore brown sunglasses that I bought from Forever 21, my favorite bandana as seen in my last post made in the usa and my very sequin back pack that I can literally fit everything in! Enjoy the rest of the photos, they were super fun to shoot!

Made in the USA

Hey darlings, happy Independence day! I love this holiday just because of the colors the parades and of course the fireworks! So here is my inspired look. I'm wearing a fitted American tee from Kmart that  I absolutely LOVE! Haha get it ?? My white jeweled shorts are from Charlotte Russe. My adorable red pumps are from Steve Madden. They are super comfortable and can be easily worn formally or casually. I love the bow on each side too! I accessorized my outfit with a patriotic bandana and beads, and my favorite sunglasses. Below are photos from my town's parade too. Have a fun and safe holiday, enjoy!!

Hey darlings! Today's look I wanted to include two of my favorite things, ballet and fashion. I went downtown on the Gold Coast to take some photos in front of some fancy buildings. I'm wearing a high-low dress from Adam Levine clothing line purchased from Kmart. Since it was a bit chilly, I wore my favorite white jean jacket from Forever 21, also seen in an earlier post "A taste of summer." I'm just wearing some black flip-flops too! What I think really makes this outfit ballet-ish is my hair in a bun. The bun originated from ballet dancers to keep the hair out of the face when turning and doing other complicated moves while still looking regal and sophisticated. Stay tuned because I will be doing a ballet/dance photoshoot soon. Hope you enjoy!

Maxi Monday

Hello darlings! Today was a bit gloomy so I decided to go with a semi formal attire. Today I started my summer intensive in Chicago for ballet and I'm absolutely enjoying it. I dance for 3 1/2 hours straight everyday! Who wouldn't love that? I absolutely love this maxi skirt, its just so loose and moves beautifully in the wind. I love the abstract design too! My cardigan is made out a loose material as well from Forever 21. I really like it because it may be hot outside, but its cold in some places and it wont look 'hot' wearing a heavy wool one. My tank top which you have seen before is in one of my earlier post black. And I finished my ensemble with Aeropostale lime green sandals.

Style inspiration: Iggy Azalea

Hello lovelies! One of my newest obsessions is Iggy Azalea, not only is her music powerful and fun to dance to, but her style is something to be inspired about. Her style is girly but with a flirty edge. She definitely knows how to keep it fancy (see what I did there;)) but also a lot of fun and casual. I love the bizarre things she wears which can be both glamorous and fun. This is a new post I will be adding, and it will be my 'Monthly style inspiration', so get ready. Hope you enjoy this June edition.

A taste of summer

Today was finally my last day of school. After already starting school later than usual because of our new science lab we had a total of five snow days too. It's just bitter sweet that this year is over. I am wearing a white jean jacket from Forever 21. My jeweled jean shorts are from Charlotte Ruse. (I only got them for $8) A customized grey tank. And my favorite denim inspired 'All Star' converse.
